How ScoutPrices works

The same product is often priced very differently on Amazon Germany, Spain or the UK. ScoutPrices shows you the whole picture in one table, so you can order from the store where it is cheapest today.

  1. 1. You search once

    Type a product name, paste the EAN or UPC barcode from the box, or use the ASIN from any Amazon link. Barcodes and ASINs give exact matches; names give you the closest products.

  2. 2. We ask every store at the same time

    ScoutPrices queries each Amazon store you selected through Amazon's official Product Advertising API and groups the answers by product. Results are cached for a few minutes so the site stays fast.

  3. 3. Prices are converted and sorted

    Each price is converted into your chosen currency using European Central Bank reference rates, refreshed twice a day. A converted price is marked with “≈” and the original amount is shown underneath. The cheapest store is highlighted, and products are ordered by their biggest discount against the list price.

  4. 4. You buy on Amazon, as usual

    The Buy button opens the product on that country's Amazon store. Shipping costs, import rules and warranty conditions differ by country, so check them at checkout. ScoutPrices earns a small commission from Amazon on qualifying purchases; it never changes the price you pay.

Good to know

  • Prices and stock are accurate at the time shown on each card and can change at any moment.
  • Some products are sold under different ASINs in different countries. Searching by barcode helps match them.
  • Time-limited deals show their end time when Amazon reports it.
